Floppy-disk is one of the oldest digital storage. These are read and written by Floppy Disk Driver (FDD). These are very slow. The storage capacity of floppy disk lies between 80 KB to 1.44 MB. Which is very low as compared to today’s storage devices. Floppies are made only to store text files not graphical files.

CD’s or DVD’s are next generation experiment to the storage devices. These are very popular in 90’s and 20’s. But they have major problem of scratch.
